Galaxy Tab Confirmed To Receive Android Gingerbread And Honeycomb Updates

It’s been previously mentioned that Android 2.2 Froyo might not be the ideal solution for tablet devices, though future versions of Android will tackle the issue. With that in mind, many potential Galaxy Tab owners will be looking to find out if the tablet will be getting upgrades to future versions of Android. Now Samsung India has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab will be getting some future updates, including Gingerbread (Android 2.3) and Honeycomb (Android 3.x), though there wasn’t any dates mentioned as to when these updates will be arriving.
