
Google has made version 6 of its Google Earth software available for download today for both Mac and PC, which brings 3D trees and integrated Street View into the mapping platform. According to Google, over 50 different species of trees were created in 3D models, and details were added to 80 million of the world’s largest cities with high details. Google hopes to bring realistic images of forests to Google Earth in the future with its 3D technology.
