The launch of Google Instant a couple of months ago did set the online world abuzz as searching became a whole lot more dynamic, and Google Instant even made its way to the Android platform recently. Well, the team at Google doesn’t seem to take a break at all, as we now have Google Instant Previews – making it faster to choose the right result since Google has decided to make the leap of faith to image-based snapshots. Instant Previews is touted to deliver a graphic overview of a search result, highlighting the most relevant sections in the process to make looking for the right page a quick and painless experience, somewhat similar to flipping through a magazine. Click once on the magnifying glass next to the title of any search result and you will be treated to a visual overview of the page, where hovering your cursor over any other result will kick off a preview. Through tests, Google found out that people who use Instant Previews are about 5% more likely to be satisfied with the results they click – will this translate to an even larger user base worldwide? The new feature is currently being rolled out now, and ought to make its way across more than 40 languages within the next few days.
