HTC Job Listing Hints At The Possibility Of E-Ink And 3D Displays In The Future?

Job postings might or might not be a hint of what a company is working on, but that’s not going to stop folks from speculating on things. A job posting shows that HTC is looking for a Baseband Design Engineer to lead the integration and evaluation of new display and camera technologies for next-generation mobile devices. It was mentioned that the successful candidate will need to be familiar with multiple display technologies (TFT-LCD, PMOLED, AMOLED, E-Ink, etc) and also familiarity with 3D display and imaging technologies. While it doesn’t explicitly state that HTC is working on incorporating E-Ink and/or 3D displays into its devices, such a possibility is definitely a mouth-watering one.
