iOS 4.2 delayed due to Wi-Fi issues

Sorry, all you Apple fanboys out there – it seems that iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has yet to arrive even though Mac OS X 10.6.5 is already out. What’s the reason for the holdout, you wonder? Well, it seems that this delay is due to last-minute Wi-Fi connection issues that was experienced by a bunch of users running the GM build on the iPad. These issues have already been documented across a wide scale across different forums and on Twitter both by users and developers, and it seems that this bug has yet to be fixed. Well, better late than never, and it is always better to release something that works instead of updating a fix with yet another fix shortly thereafter.
