Nintendo will not cut Wii prices

Nintendo is looking to stem their falling figure of Wii sales, but that does not include the option of dropping the price of its Wii cnosole. While that does not rule out cutting the Wii’s price opint currently, Nintendo President and CEO Satoru Iwata did mention that Nintendo’s main focus would be to attract buyers who might have toyed with the idea of picking up the Wii and yet never really went about fulfilling that desire. Either way, Nintendo had best do something about their situation to give their sales figures a jump start, otherwise it might just be a downward spiral from here. Maybe the upcoming 3DS handheld console might alleviate the situation a little bit?
