One of the useful features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be its ability to use Skype for voice calling but word is going around that Verizon Wireless’ Galaxy Tab will only offer Skype voice-calling over Wi-Fi. This is slightly different from what the other Android devices that it offers are getting since Verizon’s Android smartphones can make calls with Skype, at the very least, using a 1-800 number, without much fuss. It wasn’t mentioned if this limitation is due to a technical hurdle or procedural red tape, but whatever is holding it back, we hope that it’ll be sorted out soon.
