Nokia E7 Shipping on December 10th

The Nokia E7, seen as the keyboarded cousin to the recent Nokia N8, will also run Symbian^3 and will ship on December 10th according to a Twitter post by the company. The E7 is seen as a more enterprise-focused device, being branded under the E-Series moniker, and will feature a tilt-slide keyboard and screen mechanism. The device will feature a 4-inch capacitive touch AMOLED display with an nHD resolution that Nokia has traditionally used on higher end touchscreen phones. The device will also have HDMI output as well.

Nokia: Nokia is a Finnish communications company that was the largest phone vendor (per unit) between 1988 to 2012. The company's history go back to 1871 but the Nokia that we know today (the Nokia corporation) was founded in 1967 by the merger of three Finnish companies. It is then that Nokia worked on networking equipment and was ultimately involved in the launch of the first cellular network in 1981 (Mobira Oy). Although Nokia still produces a range of phones that includes entry-level handsets and Symbian smartphones, the company is counting on the Windows Phone OS to regain the share that it once had.
