It seems that Sprint has pulled the Palm Pre off from its lineup quietly, giving it a dignified “death” so to speak. Basically, this means you can no longer get the phone from its website, despite the carrier not making the move to replace the original webOS smartphone with any of its newer iterations, including the Palm Pre Plus or the Palm Pre 2. For those who are looking for a Palm device from Sprint, the only option you have left would be the original Pixi, and that is a sad case as it doesn’t even come with Wi-Fi connectivity to boot. Give a minute’s silence to the first webOS smartphone on Sprint, where it spent slightly more than one year on Sprint’s website before getting the boot.
