We’ve previously checked out PALRO the robot from Fujisoft and now the company has upgraded the robot’s software to version 2.0, offering some impressive face, body and object tracking capabilities to it. PALRO is now able to identify a face and track it even if someone turns their head and can also identify a person’s body at a distance while walking through a crowded room. It can easily turn its head to scan the room and walk to objects that it identifies. The robot is still pricey at $3,300, but if you don’t have any money, you can still check out a video of PALRO in action after the jump.
