Piano-playing android on display at Versailles

Take a gander at this rather petite piano-playing automaton or android at the Versailles, which forms part of the “Sciences and Curiosities at the Court of Versailles” exhibit. Looks rather creepy to us, but then again different strokes for different folks, eh? Those who have a penchant for history might just love how future orchestras might not feature a single human, when robots rule the world and we’re kept alive just for the sake of being “batteries” for machines to feed off us ala Matrix. Don’t say we didn’t warn you, you might just have sleepless nights after hearing her – nay, it, plough through the piano.
