Samsung has announced the details of its next generation OLED displays, dubbed OLED Max. The new technology promises to offer displays with more color accuracy, displaying images closer to their natural color. The new improvements are thanks to the new algorithms for color harmonization, detail enrichment and intelligent contrast enhancement. The new display supports resolutions up to 800 x 1024 pixels and Samsung has already begun to outline the roadmap beyond OLED Max, calling it OLED Max II. It’s good to see that Samsung is looking to improve on its already impressive OLED display technology and we’re definitely looking forward to seeing improved displays on our gadgets in the near future.
