Samsung not pulling the punches with Windows Phone 7

It is rather interesting to note that while Samsung does have its own mobile operating system in the form of bada, that doesn’t mean it shies away from other operating systems. Case in point, the upcoming Windows Phone 7 that might just renew Microsoft’s mobile OS rivalry with the rest of the other competition in the industry. While Samsung does churn out more Android and bada-powered smartphones compared to Windows Phone 7 models at point of publishing, all of that might just change in the future as Samsung is more than ready to hold its ground in the smartphone market. Will this point towards more Windows Phone 7 handsets from the South Korean consumer electronics giant? Perhaps, but how will they balance between WP7 and Android with Google’s mobile OS experiencing phenomenal growth at the moment?

Android: Android is the mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Samsung: Samsung is a South-Korean conglomerate which counts many subsidiaries like Samsung Electronics, which you probably know very well, but also Samsung Heavy Industries which builds ships, or Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Securities and many more. Samsung is responsible for an amazing 20% of South Korea's exports. In the consumer electronics world, Samsung has gone from being a company with a reputation for cheap products to becoming one of the most respected companies in the world.
