Softbank To Offer Free iPad With 'iPad For Everybody' Campaign In Japan

While the iPad is already offered at a rather attractive price in the US, Softbank is looking to make the deal even more attractive over in Japan. The carrier is preparing to launch an “iPad for Everybody” deal that offers users a 16GB iPad for free, as long as you sign up for a 25-month contract at 4,725 Yen ($56) per month. Such a deal will definitely make the iPad an attractive device to folks who are having trouble saving money for the upfront cost of the device but are able to meet the monthly contract payments to Softbank. Would you be willing to sign up for such a deal if it meant getting a free iPad?
