Better late than never, so the adage goes. Well, that might be true, but we think that “better early than late” would be more appropriate, as Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 owners would be fuming to know that multi-touch support will only come in the first quarter of next year. This means you will finally get to enjoy “pinch to zoom” capability – something that other Android-powered smartphone users of the non-Sony Ericsson variety have been able to enjoy right out of the box. We do hope that Sony Ericsson will buck up their game and make sure the phones they release will be updated with the latest software, otherwise letting customers wait for perhaps forever isn’t exactly the best way to win their hearts…
