Sony EyePet has started to ship Stateside

For those who want to have a go in the world of augmented reality Stateside, you will be able to do so with Sony’s shipment of their EyePet software. This PSP title will be accompanied by a mandatory camera with each UMD, where the entire thingamajic has been listed as $39.99 a pop. Chances are pretty high that this is going to be a big hit in terms of sales, if only for its novelty factor, so you might want to place a pre-order now in order to avoid the fate of having it being sold out by the time December rolls around, resulting in a rather miserable Christmas. PSPgo owners will be left out this time round – so much for being an early adopter, eh?
