Sony's New VAIO Y In Japan Features An 11.6-inch Display

Sony has decided to shrink the display size of its VAIO Y series notebooks over in Japan, as the company’s new VPCYA19FJ/B model features a 11.6-inch display instead of the original 13.3-inch display, though it still offers a juicy 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. The notebook will be arriving in Japan on November 27th for an undisclosed price, and specifications of it will include:

  • 1.33GHz Intel Core i3-380UM processor
  • 320GB hard drive
  • 2GB to 8GB of memory
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • HDMI port
