All might not be rosy for Google TV users at the moment as many are discovering that SyFy has begun blocking Google TV devices from its site. The NBC-owned channel has been telling users that video is not available on said device. This follows moves by other major studios such as ABC, CBS, NBC itself and also Hulu, in blocking Google TV. The good news is that Fox and PBS are currently two of the free-to-air networks that allow unrestricted access from Google TV. Will this tussle between Google and TV networks continue for a long time, or will they be able to work out an amicable solution between themselves before the consumer ends up being the one who loses out?
