Verizon has announced that it will be holding a press conference on December 1st to brief the world on the launch details of its 4G LTE network. According to the carrier, the network is slated to go live in 38 metropolitan areas, covering more than 110 million people before the end of the year. With the network going live before 2011, customers will still have to wait until early 2011 for LTE-supporting phones to arrive, though the good news is that USB modems and Mi-Fi devices of sorts should be available fairly soon.
