
After numerous leaks, the Verizon Wireless Samsung Continuum has just been made official and will ship on November 11th, at which date the device will also be found gracing retail stores as well. The Android 2.2 Froyo phone will have a secondary display on the bottom the main display with a resolution of 400 X 96 to display ticker information and important alerts. The Galaxy S smartphone will have a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, and 8 GB of storage and will join the Verizon Wireless Samsung Fascinate in the lineup. The carrier has yet to announce pricing, but pricing is rumored for $199 on a two-year contract post-rebates.
