Video: Wall-climbing Robots From Japan

The folks over in Japan seem to be obsessed with robots and now the Yume Robo has been demonstrated at the Shanghai Expo. These three robots have been climbing up and down a 15-meter wall at the Japanese pavilion every 20 minutes for the last 184 days. The three robots were created by a group of engineers at fifteen small and midsize companies in Osaka and were dressed in silver work clothes, standing 140cm tall and weighing 30kg each. It doesn’t look like they’ll be challenging Peter Parker for the role of Spiderman anytime soon, but they’re definitely getting there. Video after the jump.
