Stereoscopic 3D seems to be the in-thing these days, hence it is no surprise to see Viewsonic jump aboard the bandwagon with their latest 3DV 5 pocket camcorder. This model offers you 720p resolution recording alongside a 2.4-inch autostereoscopic display screen that lets you switch between filming in 2D and 3D with a single button switch, while letting you view the recorded content on the camera’s screen sans 3D glasses, similar to how the Nintendo 3DS works. No idea on whether Sharp provides the panels for the Viewsonic 3DV 5 or not, but you can also opt to hook it up to your 3DTV in the living room. All stored video can also be uploaded to YouTube’s 3D Channel, but that option will require you to have a pair of 3D glasses to get your eyes mesmerized. How much for the Viewsonic 3DV 5? We’re looking at approximately $238.
