Vizio is big on 3DTVs

Vizio knows that stereoscopic 3D is one trend that they should not miss, and has decided to introduce a trio 3DTVs that fall under the XVT series. The largest model among the three would be the 55-inch XVT553SV, where it will be accompanied by the 47-inch XVT473SV and the 42-inch XVT3D424SV. Regardless of which size you choose, all of them are capable of accessing Vizio Internet Apps. You won’t find them to be too technologically advanced since they’re based on the existing, non-3D XVT-series sets of the same respective sizes, albeit with the inclusion of 480Hz panels to bring the 3D experience into your living room. You will also need to purchase your own pairs of 3D active shutter glasses since those do not come bundled. Features of the TVs include integrated dual-band Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth remote control with a hardware QWERTY keyboard. Expect these puppies to hit the market later this month in time for the mad holiday shopping rush. The XVT3D554SV will set you back by $2,400, while the XVT3D474SV is going for $1,800 with the XVT3D424SV retailing for $1,400. What next after 3DTVs – projector TVs? [Press Release]
