AT&T offers carrier billing for Android Market

In what will definitely be welcome news to Android users on AT&T’s network, Google has announced that AT&T will finally support carrier billing for Android Market purchases. This move will eliminate the need for subscribers to manually enter their credit card information to purchase apps using the Google Checkout process since it can now be automatically added to the monthly cellular bill. AT&T is the latest company to enable carrier billing on Android devices, following a similar move by T-Mobile last year. The feature is being gradually rolled out to all Android users on AT&T’s network via an update and also offers a 15-minute refund window, new Market categories and a larger size limit for apps.
