Audio-Technica has just unveiled a pair of new noise-cancelling headphones for under $100. The ATH-ANC27 and ATH-ANC25 both use active noise cancellation. The ANC27 can cancel out 85% of the background noise in a room with an over-the-ear design while the on-ear design of the ANC25 can block out 80% of the noise. Both models ship with a 1/4″ adapter, airplane adapter, and will require 1 AAA battery for the noise cancellation feature to work. The ANC27 will cost $99.95 while the ANC25 will sell for $79.95.
