CardPool Allows Users to Swap Gift Cards, Facebook Credits

Innovative startup CardPool is hoping to allow users to trade in or exchange unwanted gift cards for gift cards to merchants that they want to shop at. Users can sell in gift cards to stores that they don’t shop at, exchange them for credit to Facebook so they can buy virtual goods such as FarmVille currency, or sell it to another user. For instance a $50 gift card can be sold to CardPool for $40, where the company can sell it to another user for $45, or traded for another gift card, such as one for Facebook or Amazon.com.
