Creative ZiiEagle For Classic Chinese Film Fans

Here’s a rather strange device from Creative, a video jukebox dubbed ZiiEagle. You probably won’t be able to guess its main feature from the name, but it’s a movie box that is preloaded with 668 Shaw Brothers Chinese films, including popular titles such as The Kingdom and The Beauty and One-Armed Swordsman. The package also includes about 200 titles that were not released on DVDs and TV. The hardware is powered by Creative’s ZMS-05 HD media-rich applications processor that offers 720p HDMI video output. Of course, for such a large collection of films, it won’t come cheap and it’s priced at SGD1,070 ($816), though it’ll save you the hassle of purchasing all those films online.
