Aigo will be offering the 3D PM5950 MP5 player over at DealExtreme, where this is the first naked eye 3D portable media player in the world. Basically, it allows you to enjoy stereoscopic 3D movies just about anywhere you are, and without the need to wear glasses at all, too. We do wonder where the high resolution LCD screen comes from though – could it be from Sanyo that also supplies Nintendo with the 3DS display? Basically, the PM5950 allows you to switch between 2D and 3D modes to enhance the user experience. Retailing for around $230 a pop, it might just be able to make quite the splash when it finally arrives in the market. We do wonder whether the novelty factor will be the main point that pushes sales across the board, but that remains to be seen. [Press Release]
