Facebook now the most popular site in AmericaLooks like Google is no longer the most popular site in America. That title has been stripped away by Facebook, the world’s most popular social networking website. According to some stats published by Hitwise, Facebook now accounts for 8.93% of all site visits in the country between January and November. That is a lot of hits. Google on the other hand was only 7.19% of all page visits. But that was the Google.com domain. If you took into account all of their properties such as Gmail, Google Maps, etc, Google would account for 9.85% of all the sites visited across the entire internet. Facebook isn’t there yet, but they’ll probably reach there one day. How many of you have contributed to this statistic? If you have, head over to our Ubergizmo Facebook page and Like it!
