The original Game Boy is definitely an iconic device, though you probably don’t game with it on a regular basis anymore. Someone out there decided that the portable console shouldn’t go to waste and he modified it to replace the internals with those from a Game Boy Advance SP. That mod itself isn’t too complicated since the original case is much larger than that of the SP. The modder kept the buttons, speaker, headphone jack and power switch from the original device but modified it to use the volume controller, charger and battery from the newer hardware. The cartridge connector was tweaked too and the Game Boy now features a color display too. Not a bad way to revive an aging Game Boy at all.
