Golf cart gets 100 horsepower boost

What happens when you take something as slow as a golf cart and soup it up? No, we don’t mean up to muscle car status with the option of a nitro boost, but rather, adding another 100 horses of power. Mac McAlpine managed to do so by tinkering around with a 1987 gas-powered Yamaha golf cart, throwing in a 2007 GSXR 600 EFI into the setup. While the stock bike chain and jackshift were retained, both the front and rear axles have been changed with caliper and drum brakes respectively. A NASCAR Car of Tomorrow wing on the roof also helps maintain stability and grip on the road at such high speeds. Needless to say, he’s smart enough to mod something like this, but wearing a crash helmet might be the smartest thing he’s done so far while driving this at insane speeds.
