Could Google be busy working on a new cloud storage product? Users out there are reporting that they’ve found hints of a service called Google Cloud Picker. The service is somehow connected to Google Apps, Docs and Sites and was presented to users when they tried to insert a file or image into a Google site. The service appears to allow users to organize and search photos, documents, videos and more that are stored in the cloud. Will this be a cool cloud storage product that we’ll be playing with in the near future? We certainly hope so! When Google was contacted about this product, the official response was: “Oops… looks like someone pushed some code too quickly. It’s not quite ready for prime time yet but stay tuned!”
