H2O Audio just announced their new waterproof and sweatproof earbud technologies that will make it easier to take your music with you to the pool, on a kayak trip, or on a boating expedition. The earphones are available in a variety of colors and is said to deliver a rich audio experience “without sacrificing durability” in up to 3 feet of water. The earplugs come in various different sizes, depending on your ears, and will retail for $30. The Flex earbuds are endorsed by Swimming Gold Medalist and World Champion Natalie Coughlin, who is H2O Audio’s brand ambassador. Of course, to truly be waterproof in your audio listening, you’ll probably either need a waterproof phone–like the Motorola Defy, which runs on Android and available on T-Mobile–or waterproof case for your PMP.
