There have been plenty of rumors as to what the upcoming PSP2 from Sony will be like, but now Sony Computer Entertainment head, Kaz Hirai, has confirmed that it will feature a touchscreen. He mentioned that depending on the game, there will be games where you can play perfectly well with a touch panel, though you can play immersive games better with physical buttons and pads and there could be games where users would be able to use both in combination. We’ve already seen leaked information on the PSP2 before this, showing that the device will feature dual analog sticks, a front-facing camera and even a trackpad on the back of the device, though there isn’t any confirmation if the final device will feature those traits.
