While the Nexus S was just announced to ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, here is word on yet another Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset – the HTC Evo 4G (which isn’t a new phone by the way) that has a Beta ROM of Android 2.3 Gingerbread released for it. This will work for handsets released from Sprint, and since it is still in beta stage, you can be sure that there are still plenty of bugs lying around to be ironed out, so you might want to consider waiting until the completed version is released unless you have a spare Evo 4G lying around to have it go through the paces of buggy ROMs and firmware updates. If you still have the intestinal fortitude to go ahead, you can download it here.
