We’ve seen plenty of teardown pictures from the folks over at iFixit, showing the world how to disassemble complex gadgets and offering useful step-by-step processes. Now they’ve taken it one step further and come up with an app for the iPad, allowing you to easily take all that disassembly knowledge with you. While you can obviously access the information via the website, the iPad app makes it easier to navigate the data and find what you’re looking for, and of course, bringing the iPad along with you when you fiddle with your car’s engine is a lot easier than bringing a whole notebook along. If you’re in the mood for tinkering with gadgets over Christmas, check out the app that’s already up for download.
