While we haven’t managed to get a glimpse of the iPad 2 just yet, we’ve seen plenty of cases that are apparently designed for it. Now additional leaks have surfaced, giving us pictures of what are apparently the case mold drawings for the upcoming tablet, leaked from an Asian case manufacturer. If the drawings are accurate, it does confirm the previous leaks that the iPad 2 will have tapered edges and feature a slightly contoured back. The back camera opening is also confirmed, and it seems to fit the measurements of the iPhone 4’s camera. Users have noticed an opening for a new port of the left side of the device and while there isn’t any mention of what it is for, we’ve previously heard rumors of an SD card slot or possibly a USB port. Another little tidbit is that the iPad 2 might feature a thickness of 8.5mm, though it isn’t clear if this is taken from the tapered edge or from the center. Apple’s measurement for the original iPad is 13.4mm from the center.
