Kindle For Android Updated With Periodicals And Support For SD Card Installation

Android users out there might want to take note that Amazon has released version 2.0 of its Kindle for Android app. The new version does offer some significant improvements, most notably access to the company’s library of newspapers and magazines, along with the ability to purchase content in-app. Finally, one thing that will satisfy many Android users will be the ability to choose where you want to store the app, which can now reside on your microSD card. There are some other minor improvements such as social networking updates on your reading progress, the appearance of chapter titles in the reader status bar, zooming for images and graphics and turning the page using the volume keys if you wish. The updated app is already up for download in the Android Market, so feel free to check it out.
