Kodak and NEC now have a cross-license agreement

In an official press release today, Kodak has announced that they have entered into a technology license agreement with NEC Corporation that will allow each company access to the other’s patent portfolio. It wasn’t made known what the exact terms of the license agreement was, but having access to each other’s technologies and creations should grant them both a significant boost to what they could come up with in the future. A tablet-based camera? An NEC phone with Kodak technology? Perhaps. Who do you think will gain more out of this deal? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
