Lenovo has new IdeaPads for the market

Lenovo certainly isn’t short on Idea(Pads) – pardon the pun, as the IdeaPad Y460p and IdeaPad Y560p are more than ready to hit the market, with both notebooks merging performance and style in a single package. Boasting the second generation Intel Core processor family, both models will come in various configurations of up to Intel Core i7 processors, while carrying up to a 750GB hard drive and up to 8GB DDR3 1333 memory. Lenovo’s RapidDrive technology also brings 32GB SSD and HDD capacity to speed up system performance. When it comes to entertainment, fret not as the presence of JBL speakers and Dolby Home Theater are there for your ears’ benefit. Apart from that, OneKey Theater inclusion lets you experience richer images and enhanced sound while watching movies with just the press of a button. Either one will not rock the world like the recent MacBook Air, but at least they’re functional and look good on any desk. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y460p and Y560p will be out from January 11, 2011 onwards from $849 a pop.
