It was previously mentioned that the Motorola Cliq 2/Begonia would be launched on Jan 19th. Now some additional leaks have surfaced that conflict with those earlier reports. The latest news claims that the device will be launched on January 5th instead, which is when CES will be held. There is some skepticism to the authenticity of this leak, though; as folks speculate that T-Mobile wouldn’t want the announcement to be lost amongst all the CES mumbo jumbo. On a related note, there is also a device dubbed the Kodiak listed for a January 19th release, though there isn’t any hint as to what it might be. Considering that the Dell Streak 7 is also rumored to be released on that date, perhaps it’s an internal codename for said device?
