Motorola tablet confirmed to be called the DROID XOOM?[CES 2011] We previously caught wind of the XOOM name being trademarked by Motorola and sources out there claim that Motorola’s upcoming Honeycomb tablet will be called the DROID XOOM when it’s announced at CES next week. While that’s apparently the name portion of the tablet done and dusted with, it’s been said that it won’t be offering 4G LTE connectivity built-in and instead will offer a USB port to support a 4G LTE modem. If that’s true, the good news is that there will be 4G LTE support in a way, though it would really be a lot cooler if it were built-in. With CES just around the corner, hopefully Verizon and Motorola still have some surprises left for us!
