MSI might just include Killer NIC integration in new motherboardsMSI, a name associated with quality motherboards for quite some time already, recently let loose at a press event that they will be sharing the CES 2011 stage with Bigfoot Networks. Sounds familiar? Well, Bigfoot Networks are the people behind the Killer NIC card, a dedicated gaming Network Interface Card which has done pretty well for itself in the gaming scene, where it has been proven to reduce ping times and lag while offering a much smoother online gameplay experience. Right now, Killer has already integrated their NIC technology onto a GPU, although the next logical choice would be to see integration with mainboards. Since MSI has the expertise in dealing with motherboards, this development shouldn’t come along as a surprise. No idea on how much of a premium will be slapped on such a revolutionary motherboard if it ever rolls off the production line though.
