Whispers are going around that NEC is planning to showcase a dual-screen Android-powered tablet at CES this January. The company already has a line of 7-inch Android-powered tablets over in Japan, though it’s unclear if a CES appearance means that the new dual-screen model will be arriving in the US or not. If the reports are accurate, the tablet will be part of the company’s LifeTouch brand and will feature connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. On a side note, it was also mentioned that NEC will be introducing a netbook running on Android at CES.
