Netflix fans out there will be rejoicing at the announcement that the streaming service has inked a deal with Disney/ABC programming in a deal that will see some content being available as soon as 15 days after the initial airing. With it, you’ll see new Disney Channel and ABC Family movies arriving on the service. It wasn’t immediately clear what shows will fall under this 15 day rule but there will definitely be a bunch of new content on Netflix. The statement confirms that prior season episodes of popular series such as Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers & Sisters are coming. Every episode of Lost, Ugly Betty, Scrubs and Reaper will also be added to the library, along with many others. If more networks and media companies follow this path, Netflix will become an even more attractive cable alternative to TV addicts out there.
