Reports are in that Netflix, the popular company which provides video streaming services in the US and Canada, along with DVD rentals by mail in the US, is looking to expand into other countries. The company is apparently in talks with advertising and media agencies and has an eye on Europe, Latin America and Asia. Before all this goes ahead, Netflix does want to ensure that its recently-launched Canadian operation is stable and sources claim that talks are still ongoing. It’s worth remembering that Netflix stopped a planned UK expansion back in 2004 in order to focus on its US plans. Will the company eventually make it to the markets we mentioned above? Only time will tell.
