Pantech's Verizon LTE Modem Configured For Mac

The fact that you can already purchase the Pantech UML290 and the LG VL600 LTE modems from Verizon is great, though the bad news is that neither officially work on a Mac with Verizon stating that OS X compatibility is on the way. Of course, patience isn’t always a strong point in the tech community and someone out there has managed to figure out how to get the Pantech variant working and posted the instructions online. You’ll still need a Windows machine for activation, but we’re fairly sure you wouldn’t have too much trouble borrowing one for a while. It’s not an official solution, so there’s a chance that it won’t work for you, but you might want to give it a test drive.
