plan.b Concept Digital Map For The Visually Impaired

It’s not always easy to navigate a city, especially if you have a visual disability. A German designer has come up with the plan.b concept device, something that is capable of providing a tactile representation of the surroundings to the visually impaired. Aside from letting the user feel the surface to sense what is around them, it also offers audio information by pressing on the displayed structures as well, allowing them to easily find out information on the buildings that are nearby.
