PlayStation Phone to arrive in April?

We’re still patiently waiting for Sony Ericsson’s upcoming PlayStation Phone, rumored to be dubbed the Xperia Play. Now word is going around that we might not have to wait too long as a Japanese newspaper, the Asahi Shimbun, claims that the phone is likely to be launched in the US and Europe in April.

If the reports are accurate, the US and Europe might actually be getting the phone earlier than Japan. The phone should feature a PSPgo–style sliding gamepad and a touch-sensitive trackpad at the back of the phone.
