Retro Thing's USB Joystick Connects to USB on Mac, PC

If you’re into playing retro games, the USB-powered Retro Thing Retro Joystick will be right up your ally. A 500-piece final edition was just released, that features a clear housing with a Rogue Red circuit board that illuminates the housing with a red LED light for a futuristic retro look. A version with a blue LED light is also available; both red and blue editions are available for $35. The best part is that the joystick will accommodate DIYers as the controller board can be removed and used as a standalone control interface for a MAME arcade cabinet or home-built controller.

The board includes labeled solder points to connect an arcade joystick (4 or 8 way) and 2 additional controls such as authentic arcade buttons. The complete package includes the joystick and — for a limited time only — a deluxe 6 ft clear USB cable.

The Joystick is compatible with both Mac and PC.
